Villagers and the boy's family joined hands to work on a road, improving people’s lives and driving economic development of the village

Today (January 20th), Hongxi Avenue donated by SM Group was officially opened and put into use.
The avenue stretches from Hongxi Village Reservoir to Ciyou Road and reaches all directions, drafting the wonderful blueprint of hometown construction.

 
In 2020, the Villagers' Committee of Hongxi proposed a well-being plan to improve township roads and boost economic development. SM Group, which inherited the legacy of its founder, Mr. Henry Sy, Sr., was also eager to contribute to the leapfrogging development of Mr. Henry Sy, Sr.’s hometown. In March of that year, the village committee formally signed a road donation agreement with Mr. Hans T. Sy, Chairman of Executive Committee of SM Prime Holdings, Inc.

 
Completed in January 2022, Hongxi Avenue has a total length of about 480 meters and a road width of 14 meters. There are 4-meter wide traffic lanes and 3-meter wide walkways in both directions.
