On June 3rd, Times Coordinate awards were announced at the 5th Cross-Strait Cultural and Tourism Commercial Real Estate Trend Forum in Fuzhou. SM China won three awards for its professional operating ability and market influence.

Times Coordinate awards of Cross-Strait Cultural and Tourism Commercial Real Estate have set up four categories: project, enterprise, brand and individual that aim to explore cross-strait industry models from 2020 to 2021 and enhance the overall competitiveness of the industry. Through "professional selection, online voting and expert evaluation", SM China was awarded "Excellent Commercial Real Estate Operator of the Year", SM Xiamen Complex was awarded "Excellent Urban Commercial Real Estate Operation Project of the Year", and Mr. Ronald Allan Brosas, Senior Assistant Vice President-Operations of SM China, was awarded "Excellent Commercial Real Estate Influencer of the Year".

At present, Xiamen Phase III is under construction according to the plan to open next year. The positioning is "urban trendy colony, new social space", equipped with high-end star hotel, ground garden and sky garden. It will introduce more fashion brands, as well as new concept gym, home life, parent-child interaction, etc. Xiamen Phase IV, which has just started construction this year, will be featured by offices and parking building functions. The four phases of SM Xiamen Complex have a total GFA of about 670,000 sqms and will be connected by skywalks. It will present a retail platform and living space integrating life, social, entertainment, service and business.

Mr. Ronald Allan Brosas, Senior Assistant Vice President-Operations of SM China, was also selected as one of the Times Coordinates figures for his outstanding industry operations. During his 24 years’ service at SM, he has conducted the strategic opening of multiple prominent SM malls including SM Mall of Asia and The Podium, and has been taking charge of SM China shopping center operations since 2009, during which he has made tremendous contributions to SM’s steady and sound growth in China.

Has been leading SM China’s transformation from “one-stop shopping centers” to “Lifestyle Centers” by optimizing the ratio of project formats and introducing regional leading stores & experience-based brands. He also pays attention to environmental sustainability and protection, for which he works with the building integrated photovoltaic at 3 shopping malls in Xiamen and Jinjiang and soon in SM City Tianjin.
