On June 21st, Ms. Johanna Melissa N. Rupisan, Head of Operations for SM Supermalls China was awarded the“2018 CCFA Golden Lily Award for Excellent Shopping Center Executives” for her great insights and innovative management ability at the 2018 China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA) Golden Lily Awarding ceremony held in Shenzhen, China.

"2018 CCFA Golden Lily Award for Excellent Shopping Center Executives” was presented by China Chain Store & Franchise Association (CCFA) to excellent executives of famous supermalls brands, which set very high standards in supermall industry. After preliminary selection in the industry, public online voting and judged by a panel of experts, Ms. Johanna has been recognized as one of the“2018 CCFA Golden Lily Award for Excellent Shopping Center Executives” with high scores.

Ms. Johanna has joined SM and focused on supermall operations for over 8 years，with direct responsibility over the construction, tenancy，grand opening or renovation of 6 SM malls in the Philippines. She is also responsible for the operations of 11 SM malls located in Metro Manila and has accumulated abundant experience in malls operations. Since year 2017, she has assumed the position of Head of Operations for SM Supermalls China, and insists on steady but sure development while focusing on service improvements, tenancy upgrade and customers’ overall experience. To bring the “one-stop” shopping malls experience into new life centers, SM China has adjusted its malls’ tenant mix while introducing more experiencing brands, such as Himo and Line Friends, both of which are the firsts in the Fujian province.
With the combination of experience, passion, efficient operating methods as well as motivational strategies for team achievement, she successfully helps SM China to provide its customers and partners the world-class and innovative services. Many brands have great sales records in SM, such as SM Wal-mart, which ranks first in sales in South China and SM Watson, which ranks first in sales in China. SM City Tianjin, which has launched its soft-opening for over a year, has become the popular shopping destination in the region with Bravo YH becoming the best in sales of Tianjin YH supermarkets.
